As exhilarating as it can be to have a psychic premonition or flex the muscles of your intuition, it can sometimes be scary to ‘know’ something that has yet to show up on the physical plane.
It’s easy to see how this could be when you’re talking about something that you perceive to be bad, such as an illness or accident impacting a loved one. If you have a premonition about someone you care about experiencing harm, ask yourself if there is an action that person can take that would minimize the effects.
For example, if you have the feeling that someone may have an underlying health issue, you might mention that you need to go to the doctor for your annual physical and casually ask the person when they’ve last seen a doctor. If you have an intuition that tells you that someone in your loved one’s life is being deceptive, you might question your loved one about that relationship and see if the misgivings may be shared.
What you don’t want to do is simply come out and say to your loved one that you had a psychic prediction about them and tell them what you picked up on. In fact, before giving someone any type of prediction or message, you should always ask if they truly want to hear it.
What some people don’t realize is that good things that we get premonitions about can be scary too. For example, say you can meet someone and your intuition tells you that you’re going to have a significant romantic relationship with this person. Many people who have experienced soulmate connections say they knew immediately that a relationship was important because they recognized the signs that they were interacting with a soulmate.
While this can be an exciting occurrence, it can also be scary. You might wonder if you’re making it up. You may wonder if your imagination is getting the best of you. You may wonder if it’s wishful thinking. So what should you do when you have an intuition that’s a good thing? What you don’t want to do is try to make it happen or tell other people involved about the premonition. (So don’t tell the guy that he’s your soulmate. Trust that he’ll figure it out in time.) Instead, trust that the premonition is real and prepare for it. If you have a premonition that you’re going to be offered a new job, you might start upgrading your work wardrobe or amassing skills that you’re going to need in that new job.
Premonitions and psychic ability exist to give you more power in your life. Why not make the most of it?
