Regardless of the situation, if someone drains your energy at work, not only might you feel bad but you may be less productive. In the worst-case scenario, your resulting lack of productivity may cost you a promotion of even jeopardize your job.

Nobody wants that to happen, which is why it is important that you get control of yourself energetically. You’ll benefit from learning how to protect your energy field at work.

How to Protect Your Energy Field

There are a number of ways to protect your energy field in the workplace. Some strategies should be used before you get to work, while other strategies can be used while you are at work, or even after you get home.

Before you go to work, visualize yourself surrounded by a white circle of light. Visualize the circle having a zipper in front and visualize yourself zippering it up so that you are totally enclosed. Tell yourself that any negativity in the workforce will be unable to penetrate the circle of light and will instead boomerang back onto the sender. You might have to do this again during the course of the day if you start to feel rundown.

Once you get to work, use a few metaphysical tools to keep negative energy at bay. Fill a small bowl with salt water and sit it on our desk. The salt water will absorb negativity. I wouldn’t volunteer this information to others. I’d let them wonder why the bowl was there, or better yet, put it in a corner or possibly an empty drawer where it won’t get too much attention. It is important that you make sure you dump the water and refill the bowl each day so that there is not a buildup of negativity.

You can also smudge your workspace regularly if it won’t cause problems for you at work. Again, don’t do this if people will be looking at your strangely or if there is a workplace policy against lighting any kind of fire in the office. If you don’t want to smudge at work, you can use an energy spray such as this purification spray to ward off bad energy in the workplace. A quick spray when you get into the office each morning should suffice.

Once you get home, keep the theme going by making sure there is no negative energy that has inadvertently attached to you. How do you do that? A simple shower can wash off any negative energy leaving you refreshed and ready to do it all over again the next day.
