Manifesting Miracles: Faith is a choice, not a feeling

faith-isMany people have a huge misperception about faith. We’ve all heard that faith will be needed at certain points in life. Talking about faith is easy, and it is at the root of every spiritual tradition. However, when it comes time for people to practice faith in their own lives, they often fall short.

If you ask people why they gave up on faith, some will undoubtedly say they just don’t feel it. But that’s where they have the wrong idea about faith. Faith is never a feeling. When you feel optimistic about something, that’s not faith, that’s hope.

Faith is a choice. It’s the act of choosing to believe something is true even though there is no evidence of that thing. It’s a choice to believe something will happen even though we don’t feel like it’s about to happen. It’s easy to believe in something when you ‘feel it.’ There are times when you just know something good is going to happen. That’s not exhibiting faith. That’s simply¬†tapping into your intuition.

Faith is more powerful than hope, and faith exhibits an understanding of the Universe and how manifestation works. We attract what we expect to attract.

With faith, we can create miracles in our life. When we choose to believe in something good even though we are in the dark or going through a rough patch we show that we are the masters of our own lives. We understand that we have a power in the Universe and we are willing and able to use it in the light and in the dark.

The next time there is something in your life that you want to have faith in, understand that you can’t wait for faith to show up. Feelings are fleeting; that’s why faith is so much more powerful than a feeling.

It’s a choice to believe in goodness and miracles and that the best things can happen to you. It’s like a muscle. The more you practice faith, the stronger it gets and the more you’ll be able to move forward and upward no matter what your circumstances may be.
