The 6.0 earthquake to rock San Francisco, California is the latest in a string of geological events to rock the world. Earthquakes, volcano eruptions and intense storms have seemingly picked up in frequency in recent years. Is there a metaphysical meaning? Many believe the answer to be ‘yes.’
When you have a personal spiritual shift, it’s often accompanied by chaos in your life. Things often fall apart so that they can be put back together in a better way. Often the first sign that a spiritual transformation is taking place is that everything seems to go wrong at the same time. One of the keys to making it through a spiritual transformation entirely is having faith that you’ll understand why the chaos had to occur — and get past it to a better state of being. Many people get lost in the chaos and feel as if their life is falling apart. Many give up and don’t see the spiritual journey through, and that is their biggest mistake.
Many believe that the same thing happens on a geological level. As the planet undergoes a spiritual shift, there will be physical manifestations that will accompany it. The vibration of the planet is rising as more and more people undergo spiritual awakenings. As a result, the energy on the planet is shifting and that is leading to changes that may feel chaotic and destructive.
Even the Bible speaks of earthquakes as spiritual shifts. When Jesus was getting ready to die, Matthew 27: 50-51 says:
“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.”
This sounds very much like an earthquake.
While it feels good to think that earthquakes and other events are being caused by the rising vibration of those of us on Earth, there is another theory that is not quite as cheery. The energetic cause of earthquakes and other severe geological events could be rage — rage that the planet is experiencing due to the harm that has been put upon it by the human race. The planet is a living creature that is affected by all that we do. When we harm it, it experiences pain. We know from our own lives that bottled up pain eventually erupts.
As we look at the weather and geological events that transpire around the world, we must look beyond the physical manifestation and consider the deeper meaning. The entire planet is undergoing a shift. The question is — in which direction?
